Counseling & Education
About Housing Counseling
We believe that a solid educational foundation will equip homebuyers with the necessary skills and tools to repair credit, climb out of debt, and achieve sound and proper money management. NWRHA teaches consumers fundamentals of home ownership, including the mortgage process, predatory lending, homeowner insurance, housing repair, expenses & maintenance to name a few.
Participants have the opportunity to assess their current situations and work with counselors to tailor plans designed to fit specific needs. We offer two educational workshop series: Homebuyers Express for those "near ready" on the path to owning a home and Homebuyers Club for those who may be dealing with a variety of prolonged obstacles.
